Pump It Up's Jump-N Art 2019
Campers can spend time exploring their inner artist, laughing, playing games, and bouncing on the state-of-the-art inflatables at Pump It Up’s Jump-N-Art Camp! Developed by a fine arts education center, this camp emphasizes the joy of self-expression through art. Each week has a different exciting theme to assure campers are actively engaged throughout the summer. Before and after care is available by contacting Pump It Up of Waldorf at 301-638-5867.

Sky Zone Ninja Warrior Camp
Join us at Sky Zone for an exciting interactive summer experience! Campers will work to master the ninja warrior obstacle courses, play forms of dodgeball, compete in relay races around the trampoline park, and learn the basics of proper jumping and flips while gaining knowledge about marketing and engineering.

Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Workforce Prep
Our camp counselor-in-training program is designed to offer young, aspiring adults an opportunity to prepare to be the future leaders of tomorrow. CIT’s will receive coaching in resume writing, acing an interview, real-life workplace scenarios, and character-building experiences through a variety of interactive activities. Participants will be learning teaching techniques, go on various field trips, and become CPR and first-aid certified. Those enrolled must display a positive attitude, high enthusiasm, and motivation to learn. Job shadowing at various Community Centers Jul 1-5. No training Jul 4.

Kayak Skills and Nature Workshop
Campers will build lifelong kayaking skills while exploring a passion for science and our waterways! Each day is a new experience — from hands-on science lessons to new kayaking skills. Kayak skills are taught through games and activities. Campers will explore animals in their natural habitat! Led by Atlantic Kayak Company. No experience necessary.​

Theater Camp
Lights, camera, action! Learn the basic acting techniques, fundamentals of public speaking, improvisational skill, how to prepare for an audition, cold readings, and other skills that are sure to ignite the acting bug. Campers will enjoy a trip to the local pool for recreational swimming and an exciting field trip.

Future Chefs Camp
Once your aspiring chef straightens their chef’s hat and arranges their apron - let the fun begin! Each day campers will experience food and nutrition in a new light. Campers will learn proper table etiquette, how to set a table, and table manners out in public. Campers will learn about nutrition labels from the foods they consume and create their own meal plan to help in the kitchen. Cooking lessons will be age appropriate. Campers will enjoy a trip to the local pool for recreational swimming.

Flight Camp
Blast off! This introduction to rockets, remote-controlled helicopters, and other flying aircraft will not only teach campers the history of things that fly but how to build and launch rockets and navigate RC helicopters! Campers will enjoy a trip to the local pool for recreational swimming. Campers get to take home something that flies at the end of camp.

Brick Inspiration LEGO Camp
Explore science, technology, architecture, engineering, and art using LEGO bricks at this exciting all-day camp! Design, build and light up entire cities of tall buildings, bridges, roads, parks, and railways using batteries, bulbs, wires, and switches to bring creations to life. This camp will fire up your child’s imagination and spark creativity in the form of inspired play following one of our themed LEGO builds coupled with our magical delivery. The curriculum provides an opportunity to design and build LEGO creations working either individually or in groups as well as participating in challenges, group competitions and free build time towards the end of camp.

Digital Learning and Gaming Camp
Learn the foundational tools of using iMovie, animation, and visual arts. Campers will explore how to make movies with iMovie, and create animations using LEGO and other props using iStopmotion in this exciting and creative digital learning curriculum. A range of visual art apps will blend campers’ creative artistic talents using digital technologies. Retro classic arcade games and some physical recreation actives will be included in this non-stop action and learning fun.

Sports Inspiration - Multi-Sports Camp
Sports Inspiration will provide campers with an opportunity to engage in high-tempo structured sports activities. The curriculum will include set teaching drills, sports techniques, and creative teaching methods designed to enhance skill development in a positive, fun environment by qualified coaches. This camp is a mixture of different sports such as soccer, baseball, floor hockey, tennis, cricket and more!

Superheroes and Villains Workshop
Avengers assemble! Each day of our Superheroes and Villains Workshop will focus on a different superhero or villain and campers will participate in creative, fun and active superhero activities. Arts and crafts, sports, drama, games, and LEGO are just a handful of the super activities we have on deck. Campers will create their own superhero (or villain!) and develop their own super identity throughout the week.

Family Place to Play Fun Center 2019 Summer Camps
Family Place to Play Fun Center is offering two unique camps (Dance and Visual Arts & STEM) to immerse campers ages 4-12 in a wide array of activities exposing them to multiple disciplines. Dance and Visual Arts
Campers will be provided a forum to express themselves through various styles of dance & visual arts takeaways. Based on an exciting weekly theme, campers will engage in a variety of activities ranging from: choreographed dance routines (including African, Modern Jazz, and Hip Hop), set design, and live demonstrations with costumes and makeup to showcase their newly acquired talents. Camper’s creativity will be sparked completing weekly art projects in different mediums including canvas, mosaics, watercolors and much more.

STEM
Campers will engage in an array of STEM-related activities that encourage thinking critically and analytically while problem-solving to complete science, technology, engineering, and mathematical tasks. Campers will conduct fun experiments, bring robotic creations to life, and design virtual and miniature size models. All activities and experiments will be supervised by trained staff.
