Basics of Basketball
This clinic focuses on basic fundamentals and skills of basketball. Skills and drills will be taught during half court and full court segments on both offense and defense. Each two-hour session will be broken down into four, 30-minute segments. First 30 minutes – basketball fundamentals will be taught; during the second 30 minutes – individual and team shooting; the next 30 minutes will cover half and full-court pressure defense, and the last 30-minute segment will include structured games. We hope to see the skills and drills that we teach implemented in structured games. During the structured play, games will stop so fundamentals may be stressed.
